Participate the 22nd of every month in raising awareness for veterans who fall victim to suicide every day during APC’s Walk the Bridge. Walk the 2.2 miles in honor of the 22 veterans who lose their lives every day to suicide while also helping those who need it gain two hours of community service per walk. Additionally, attendees will gain insight into nonprofit support available in the Billings area.

Join us for the Legacy Art Show 2025 hosted by Wolery Artwork, featuring 15 talented artists, live performances, and exclusive auctions to support veterans. 50% of auction proceeds benefit Veterans Navigation Network’s Warrior Bridge program, aiding Native American service members and the Apsáalooke Nation Lady Warriors will present the colors in honor of our military. Be a part of the Mountview Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, starting at 9:45 a.m. This event will honor those who gave their lives in service. The event will feature music, guest speakers including congressman Troy Downing, a wreath laying, and more.
Bridging Montana is all about coming together to build stronger, healthier communities. Bridging Montana: MT E-T Care & Connection Expo will take place on May 31 at the Billings Public Library in Billings, MT. This community resilience fair is designed to provide individuals and families with access to essential services, resources, and support. Hosted by Montana Employment and Training Services, RiverStone Health, Montana DPHHS, and the Billings Public Library, the event aims to foster connection and promote overall well-being. Attendees can receive free vaccines from RiverStone Health (with ID and proof of insurance), gather information to help stay healthy and ready for work or school, and engage with a wide range of service providers.
The Service Academy Days event, hosted by U.S. Senator Steve Daines, will take place on Wednesday, April 16, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Lockwood High School in Billings, MT. Representatives from Montana’s Congressional Delegation offices and all U.S. service academies—including the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, and Air Force—will be present to provide information on the application process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about ROTC programs and the Montana National Guard.

Help YRPA kick off the 2025 Dover Volunteer Fridays season on Friday, March 21st, from 1:30 – 4:00 PM at the Dover Activity Center. Whether you’re a long-time volunteer or new to the crew, this is a great chance to get oriented, meet others, and jump into a small project at John H Dover Memorial Park. The Patton Veterans Project offers free weekend filmmaking workshops for veterans in Billings and Bozeman, Montana, throughout 2025. These 3-day workshops help veterans create short films while fostering creativity, connection, and mental well-being. Workshops are limited to 18 Veterans, with meals included.
